I spent almost all of yesterday out, so didn't get a thing done. That leaves today. Whatever I don't get done today will be finished tomorrow.
Here are the stats, so far:
Budget
Haven't even started. I will get this done today, though. If it kills me.
Christmas Decorating
Almost done. We aren't putting a tree up this year, so it was pretty easy. At some point today I want to run outside and grab some greenery from around the property. We will have to see how that goes.
Cookies
Before I make grandiose plans, I really need to check the pantry. We are out of a few things - despite going to the grocery store three times yesterday. Maybe I will run to the store tonight when Marty gets home from work and spend tomorrow making a few batches.
Christmas Shopping
Done, and super easy. We set a budget and gave the kids the choice of doing our traditional "Want, need, play with, read" list or having the money deposited into their ING accounts. Ethan is the only one that wanted a gift, and he only wants one thing. (A big radio control H3) so Marty and I stopped last night and picked it up. The gift wasn't all of his budgeted amount, so the difference will go into his ING account.
The only other people we are giving gifts to are
Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles - They will get a framed picture of the boys and homemade fudge.
Nieces - We buy them a season pass to their local zoo and when hey come to visit in January they get stockings.
Neighbors - Fudge. I got the tins yesterday, so just need to pick up the sweetened condensed milk. will get that on Tuesday on errand day.
Birthday Shopping
All he wants for his birthday is new ear buds, so I will pick those up on Tuesday. The lamb on the other hand I might drive all over Mid-Michigan to find. I did find lamb chops at Meijer, but that isn't what he wants.
Winterizing
The windows in our living room/dining room are so big that I have to buy patio kits for them, and each time I have tried to buy them they were out. They finally had them yesterday, so we will do that as soon as I am done here. I am also going to staple a blanket up over the door from the laundry room to the garage. (It will look fab, don't you think? lol) Once these are done, the house will be done.
Christmas Cards
How is it that each year I manage to lose everyones address? I send less than 10 cards each year, so you would thing that I could keep track of them.
School
Usually on Sunday night I print what I need for the week. Will do it after dinner.
